darling:
these blog entries of yours look cool.
but i have a concern:
people who are looking at the blog do not have a context to any of things you are writing about. although blogs generally are a very personal mode of communication and self-expression, but we are trying to build this particular blog as something more professional. actually, this blog is our report-filing platform. instead of memos, we write on the blog, so that the interns/organizations/funders/well-wishers can see what exactly is happening with the choice project, and can interact with each other on that.
so, i would have to ask you to make your blog entries more specific, more informative. it can surely have poems/quotes/photos/snippets from anywhere relevant, but it is strongly advisable that you contextualize it, and link it directly with your experience as an intern at seagull.
hope to see even cooler (maybe longer and more comprehensive) entries from you soon.
CHOICE is a youth leadership programme that hopes to inspire and unearth young social entrepreneurs. It aims to broaden the options in the lives and careers of India’s youth and nurture a sense of social responsibility among them. It is a platform for young people to contribute meaningfully to social development and make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others.
The core idea of the programme is to offer internships of varying length young persons in the age group 18 to 25 from different parts of India in non-profit organizations focusing on different aspects of development. A crop of young enthusiastic interns is selected. Choice offers quarterly, half-yearly and yearlong internships to those who can convincingly bring commitment, initiative and added value to the development sector.
