One of my friends Hu Xiangqian, whose works will be showcased in the Exhibition of Video Art from China, is working on a new project. The idea is to turn himself into a negro in 3 months and prowl the black community in Guangzhou... Sunbathing everyday... Curling his hair... While it is still unknown what he's going to do exactly... And the title of the work is, The Sun.August 12, 2008

well, that's quite fascinating really! but 'negro'? shouldn't we be more careful with the words we use? slightly less politically incorrect may be? :)
